Jacob Cole is a 2028 SS/RHP, UT with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Rocklin, CA who attends Whitney. Features a smaller/lean build with plenty of room/time to add. Ran a 7.92 60-yd dash. At SS, displayed fundamental actions with some feel for the position. Operates low to the ground and works through hops well. Clean hands that show softness at reception with good funnel and transfer. Reshuffle of feet before getting off throws using a full arm action showing quality strength across for his level. At the plate, sits with a medium/open base with loose hands. Smaller leg lift trigger into a slight higher elbow launch with some good forward bend. Path works more uphill to the baseball getting consistently under the baseball. Avg. bat speed for his level. Some inconsistent timing and barrel feel during his round but caught a couple out front producing some quality FBs. On the mound, side steps into a small knee tuck. Decent drop in driveleg and works with some decent pace down the mound. East/west mover. Taller finish and leaks/falls toward 1B side of mound. Hand-lead arm path out the glove that works into a lower elbow low 3/4 release. Ran the FB up to 76 and mixed in a developing CH and CB.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
