2024 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Caden Wharton is a 2026 3B with a strong 6-1 200 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Granite Hills HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.36 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman. Good lateral range with soft hands. Fields it cleanly out front. Works around the ball well. Showed a clean slot change. Good actions all around in the infield with decent arm strength. Should continue to get better here. Switch hitter with a wider base from both sides. Strong top hand grip with a tight starting handset. Small toe tap trigger for timing. Rotational operation with strong hands. Controls the barrel with strength to the middle and opposite field. Found a barrel in game action as well. Good all-around player that should continue to get better. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
