Jackson Dupont is a 2028 1B/LHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Hammond, LA who attends Oak Forest Academy. Longer frame with broad shoulders and strength with room for more. Ran a 8.03 in the sixty yard dash. Primary first baseman, waits back on the baseball, short and quick arm action, moves well around the bag with some lateral agility. Also worked out in the outfield, methodical footwork to the ball, long gather with a shuffle into throws, recorded a velocity of 68 mph on throws from the outfield. Secondary left handed pitcher, rhythmic and fluid delivery, well balanced and under control, short and efficient arm stroke to a high 3/4 release, lands in line and on time, missed a ton of bats with a fastball that had late arm side life at 75 mph, curveball was a weapon with advanced feel to spin and manipulate the shape when the count called for it. Left handed hitter, slightly open spread stance, toe tap trigger with some loft to the bat path, impacted the baseball to the right field gap. Named to the Top Prospect List.
