Chase Dutton is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Muskegon, MI who attends Oakridge. Dutton works from a long limbed and plenty projectable build with lots of room to fill out and add strength as a '27 prospect. Primary C, starts from a one knee set with intent to gain ground in the footwork. Can further make an effort to work in-line down to 2B. Projectable arm strength displayed with repeatable actions overall. Posted a 2.25 pop time. On the mound, Dutton started from the 1B side of the rubber utilizing a compact arm action releasing from a 3/4 slot. FB topped out at 72 mph with developing spin in the arsenal. CB registered at 1878 rpm. Pitched to contact effectively. Offensively, the righty started from an open base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Utilized a simple repeatable stride into impact with strength in the hands present. Good upside for future. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.39 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
