2026 PG Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase
Ashton Bricker is a 2029 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Sarver, PA who attends Freeport Area. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age and more to come. 6.86 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well side to side and has quick feet, gets the glove down early, can throw from multiple arm slots, big arm strength for his age when he's on top of the ball, has the tools and athleticism to be a standout defender in the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and crouched stance with a small hanging leg raise trigger, rotates his lower half well, stays compact and direct with his hands, has solid present bat speed with hard gap to gap contact, was consistent in his timing and barrel path. Also took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a belt high leg raise, drop and drive mechanics with a long stride down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the mid-80's with some running life. Also threw a power curveball with good arm speed and some 11/5 depth. Well balanced all around talent. Excellent student. Named to the Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
