Gustavo Padron is a 2025 C/ with a 5-7 163 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends University High Sch Of Indiana. Compact young build with some present strength. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has quickness in all his defensive actions, very compact exchange and release on his throws, stays on line very well on his throws and makes accurate throws, game actions in drills. Left handed hitter, starts from a balanced and narrow stance with a short well controlled stride into his swing, has bat speed and creates separation through contact, pulls the ball with authority and intent, lots of potential as a hitters. Very good student. Named to the Indianapolis Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
