Jose Perdomo is a 2027 C/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Fall River, MA who attends B M C Durfee. Larger build with some strength present throughout and physical projection remaining. Primary catcher, sets up in a wider, squared stance and gets out of the crouch with some urgency. Gains limited ground before separating into a medium arm path. Has some present hand speed and puts good carry on the throws. Kept them around the bag. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph with a pop time of 2.19 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Takes a direct path to the baseball and works into a line drive stroke. Impacts the ball with good strength when timed up. Will continue to improve timing and barrel control over time. Posted an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 7.71 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
