Devon May is a 2029 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-6, 112 lb. frame from Spring, TX, who attends Concordia Lutheran High School. He is an 8.98 runner in the sixty. Wiry build with plenty of room to add strength as he continues to develop. On the mound, he works from a three-quarters arm slot with a clean, compact delivery. He shows a feel for his release and an understanding of how to mix pitches. His fastball comes out clean, complemented by a loopy slider with depth and a changeup that has fade and promise when landed. He has early pitchability and developing command that should improve with added strength and lower-half engagement.
Defensively, he moves well with soft hands and clean footwork in the infield. He made accurate throws when under control. He also shows solid actions in the outfield with a controlled approach and accurate one-hop throws. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has a slightly crouched, open stance. He is short and direct to the ball with a contact-oriented approach, showing barrel control and the ability to get to pitches on the inner half.
