Lachlan Smith is a 2024 IF/ with a 6-0 163 lb. frame from Victoria, Australia. A lean frame with a medium build. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Works to the ball with clean footwork and a natural bend to pick the ball. Soft hands, especially when ranging to use his backhand. Fluid movements with control of his body showing soft-ish hands that were snatchy at times. Compact arm slot that produced 83 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with high-set hands and a high back elbow in his stance. He uses a small stride forward with looser hands to get them through the zone. Was able to meet the ball out front and drive it for solid contact. Transfers the weight, using the lower half. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity.
