Henry Carpinito is a 2027 1B/RHP with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Kent, WA who attends Seattle Christian Schools. Extra big and tall build with lots of strength potential. Left handed hitter, stays short and compact well for his size, short stride into his swing with a direct hand path, balanced through his turn, low tension swing, has bat speed and impact when he releases the barrel out front, lots of projection here especially with the power. 5.59 runner in the forty. Primary first baseman on defense, showed his athleticism well, has soft hands and good rhythm in his actions, good pivots and feeds, obviously a big target. Took a turn on the mound, works from a side step delivery with a hip high leg tuck and a cross fire landing out front into his release, rotational overall mechanics, longer arm action to a low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with some running life. Also threw a firm change up with lots of fading action and a short slider that was effective. Good student.
