AJ Wida is a 2028 C/MIF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Kaneohe, HI who attends Punahou. Features a medium build with athleticism present. Ran an 8.05 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and at catcher. Charges the ball well on the dirt. Still refining glove timing consistency but can regularly make the routine play. Arm strength plays well across, reaching 76 mph. Uses a side saddle setup behind the plate. Displays quiet feet with a sound base. Has solid components present with room to grow. Recorded a 2.03 pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a slight leg lift timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path with extension out front. Has bat speed present. Sound approach allows for the entire field to be used. Could gain power quickly as more strength is added. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Southwest Showcase Top Prospect List.
