Jackson White is a 2027 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-0 135 lb. frame from Voorheesville, NY who attends Voorheesville. Young, square shouldered frame wtih room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran an 11.05 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher stance behind the plate during drills, works into a longer transfer with a lower arm slot on throws, shows accuracy on throws down to second base with arm strength and carry that will continue to develop, young footwork in actions. Short and narrow steps to the ball in the infield, some bend at waist, shorter arm action on throws, double tap moving into release. Also pitched, worked exclusively from the stretch, belt high leg lift at top of delivery, shorter stride down the mound; remains compact with arm action and gets to a three-quarters release point. Remains short with arm action through release, fastball topped out at 53 mph and worked exclusively off of it. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and upright stance at the plate with a high hand set and back elbow; upper body dominant swing, full swing path through the zone. Patient approach at the plate, picked up a hit in live action to pull side, best when working on a linear path, tends to open front side early. Very good student.
