Leo Kelly is a 2028 3B/RHP with a 5-6 143 lb. frame from Evanston, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Longer frame with square shoulders and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 9.27 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, early prep and gets two hands out front, works into a compact arm action, extra step moving into release, shows carry on throws across the diamond and consistently on top, will continue to refine footwork, accuracy throws, maintained body control on charge play. Works well through the ball in the outfield, plays under control, fields the ball to side, similar compact arm action. Also pitched, deliberate tempo to delivery with late acceleration; short and clean arm action through the back, works on line down the mound. Incorporates lower half well, fastball topped out at 69 mph with more in the tank. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate, utilizes a longer stride moving into contact. Incorporates strength/size well into swing, creates separation with some lift at the point of contact, finishes through the ball well and shows present bat speed. Named to the 13u Main Event Top Prospect List.
