Scott Pavlat is a 2028 C/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita. Primary catcher with an athletic frame. Sets up in the traditional stance. Showed good feel behind the dish keeping the ball in front with good hands. Showed consistent actions and skills back there with feel to get it out. Quick transfer and release and low liner accurate throws. Recorded a 1.97 pop and was up to 75 from behind the dish. Also played outfield and was up to 80 from there. Aggressive moving to the ball with a quick first step. Accurate with his throws that had good carry behind them. Also ran a 7.38 sixty. Right-handed hitter with an even base. Uses a short stride out into contact for timing and rhythm. Uses the middle of the field well and impact shows up that way. Excellent Student.
