Jackson LaRoche is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Big Lake, MN who attends Big Lake. Recorded a 7.28 second sixty-yard dash time. Taller frame with a long and lean build. Left-handed pitcher works from a leg lift up around the belt. Longer arm action through the back with some whip to the arm and delivers from a high three- quarters arm slot. The fastball (2045 RPM) was 79-81 with occasional cut to it. The low-to-mid 70s curveball (2369 RPM) had more 1-7 shape with shorter break and tight spin to it and could manipulate shape and depth on it. Showed ability to get swing and miss with the pitch. Also showed a mid-70s change-up (1806 RPM) with some depth to it. Secondary first baseman that fields it up the middle with a longer release and loose arm. Projectable actions with accuracy to second base. Left-handed hitter starts from an even base and a slightly open stance with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Projects for more power as strength is added to the frame. Exciting pitcher with good upside. Excellent student.
