Benton Hardy is a 2027 OF/UT with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Smiths Station, AL who attends Smiths Station. Young, athletic build. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, under control on the charge, obvious athleticism and moves around with good energy and bounce, fields with one hand on the side of the frame, throws from a low slot. Accurate throws around the bag with developing arm strength, recorded throws up to 74 mph. Right-handed hitter, narrow and even base with high hands and a high back elbow in the stance, long swing, downhill path through the zone with young bat speed. Flashed ability to impact to the middle of the field. Should continue to grow into some power as he gets older.
