2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Kamran Coleman is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Leesburg, VA who attends Riverside. Recorded a 7.28 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a compact build. Primary outfielder with fast footwork and a quick shoulder that gets rid of the ball quickly. Also threw on the mound. Right-handed pitcher works from the stretch-only from the middle of the rubber with a chest-high leg lift into a moderate, in-line stride down the mound. The hands start at the belt and rise to the shoulders before separating into a moderate takeaway before accelerating through from a high three- quarter angle. The fastball (1889 RPM) was upper-70s and topped out at 79 with some arm-side run and life. Showed the feel for the curveball (1945 RPM) and was able to double up on it in the low-70s. Showed a change-up with some arm-side tumble. Right-handed hitter starts from a narrow base with an open front side. Athletic profile and has some bat speed with some looseness to his hands. Consistent contact with lots of barrels and showed a middle-of-the-field approach. Good student. Exciting player with good physical projection remaining.
