Mason Cole is a 2025 OF with a 5-8 129 lb. frame from Venus, TX who attends Midlothian. Posted a 6.69 in the 60. Primary OF is a developing build with room to advance his tools. He showed a solid fundamental feel for the position and actions, the arm strength projects well as he continues to fill the frame. In the infield the athleticism transfers over and showed ability to make plays, overall effectiveness with the arm will develop. On the mound he was up to 74 with the fastball mixing in a developing breaking ball. He kept it simple from the stretch in a short inning of work. Right-handed hitter sets up with a wide base with balance in the swing. Can run into good contact when the barrel stays on plane. Stays loose in the box and generates some whip and can work opposite field well. Good student.
