Quinn Melton is a 2028 1B/3B with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Chico, CA who attends Pleasant Valley. Recorded an 8.98 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman and showed solid glovework, using a long arm swing to throw. Also worked out in the infield and utlized methodical actions, fielding the ball cleanly. Left-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with open feet. Loads weight on the back leg and uses a leg kick timing trigger. Worked to lift with loft to the path, meeting the ball out front and getting fully extended. Repeated swing well and created some leverage during the round, working primarily the pull side.
