Jordan Kangas is a 2029 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Esko, MN. Kangas has some young strength present in the frame with additional room to fill out in the future as a '29 prospect. Working from his primary IF spot, displayed good lateral range up the middle with refining glove work. Showcased a full arm action that he repeated well, ultimately topping out at 59 mph across the diamond. On the mound, Kangas touched 64 mph utilizing a lower controlled leg lift with big stride down the hill. Shorter arm action with slight cutting action on the FB. Should see spin profile improve with age. Offensively, started from an even base with a high hand set and high back elbow staying inside the baseball well. Flashed strength in the hands for his age with good bat speed to pair. Posted an exit velo of 72 mph. Ran a 8.97 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
