Kallen Magli is a 2028 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Deforest, WI who attends Sun Prairie. Medium young build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance, deep push back hand load with a hanging leg raise timer, stays controlled and on balance, has a quick hands driven swing with present bat speed and some strength at contact, can get into his lower half more as he develops. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has active feet and moves well laterally, gets the glove down on time and has soft hands, threw from an over the top arm slot when set but showed a better arm and accuracy when dropping his slot, athletic overall actions. Also worked out in the outfield, similar over the top arm slot, doesn't get downhill consistently, fields the ball off to the side, carries some momentum into his throws. More polished and athletic in the infield. Took a turn on the mound, works from a side step delivery with a belt high leg raise and a compact high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was up to 80 mph with some cutting action. Curveball had tight spin and some 11/5 bite with good depth. Threw strikes with both pitches and competed well. Very good student. Named to the Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
