Jayden Ammeraal is a 2026 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Grand Haven, MI who attends Mona Shores. Recorded a 7.87 sixty-yard dash at the event. Tall, slender frame with athletic action around the entire field. Showed great versatility all weekend, working out at multiple defensive positions and pitching on the mound. The primary outfielder showed good footwork with a slower first step to the ball. Fielded it off to the side with momentum working towards his target. Clean transitions. Secondary defender in the infield with average footwork working toward ball. Struggled with accuracy across the infield with some longer strides getting to the ball. During BP, Ammeraal hit from a wide base with a small leg kick timing. Showed alright hand speed with good barrel control and a level bat path. On the mound, Ammeraal has an athletic delivery with a balanced leg lift into good extension out front. Filled up the zone with a high-60's - low 70's FB. The FB has consistent arm side run into right handed hitters, commanded both sides of the plate. The CB is a developing pitch with 11/5 action and 1778 RPM's. Would benefit from throwing it with more consistent arm speed and conviction. Overall, Ammeraal showed good skills on the weekend and a strong base to build from in the coming years. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 13/14u Sunshine Midwest Showcase Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
