Austin Lee is a 2029 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B, MIF, IF with a 5-5 110 lb. frame from Wellesley, MA who attends Dexter Southfield. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran a 10.13 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball closer to body with a wide base, young actions with a fuller arm stroke through the back, accurate throws across the diamond, arm strength will continue to increase, takes shorter steps on the move and charge. Also pitched, clean and repeatable operation with a three-quarter release point. Worked off of a two-pitch mix, fastball topped out at 60 mph and showed comfort locating in the zone while inducing weak contact while flashing a curveball with short depth up to 51 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Contact oriented approach, full swing path through the zone with comfort working to the middle of the field; worked on a linear plane to the ball, occasionally gets to front side early with weight shift.
