Brian Tang is a 2029 3B/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Hopkinton, MA who attends Belmont Hill. Big and thick build with plenty of strength potential. Right handed hitter, starts from a slightly open base and utilized toe tap trigger into weight shift. Loose hands with evident barrel whip generated through zone. Intent to create lift in the path with carry production to the middle of the field. Posted an exit velo of 85 mph. Primary IF, displayed controlled buildup with some room to speed up the internal clock. Reliable glove work with accurate throws produced across the diamond up to 74 mph. Additional arm strength expected to develop in the future. Ran a 7.88 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
