2025 PG New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jacob Abzug is a 2026 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Commack, NY who attends Commack. Medium build with the beginnings of some present strength. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a wider squared up stance, receives the ball well, comes out of his crouch athletically and has good lower half quickness, makes accurate throws from a lower arm slot from a low transfer. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a quick leg lift trigger, gets rushed at times, flashes some strength at contact when he's on time, can develop more rhythm and consistency in his timing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
