2024 EC Lumberjack's Workout Showcase
Brady Kraus is a 2027 OF/1B, 3B, UT with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Hauppauge, NY who attends Hauppauge. High-waisted, lean framer with long levers and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.58 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with developing defensive skill set. Fields off to the side using deliberate footwork, used a big crow-hop into release and displayed arm strength up to 73 mph during drills. Produced fairly accurate throws with projection for more arm strength as he adds strength. Secondary corner infielder with similar deliberate footwork into the fielding process. Bends slightly at the waist to field, gets slightly upright into release and produced arm strength up to 73 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even base with a tight, pushed hand start and small forward stride into launch. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and slight arm bar to get the swing going. Whole field approach with developing feel for the barrel and some present bat speed. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
