2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Colton Smith is a 2029 C/RHP/1B with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Liberty Twp, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Medium, athletic build with good room for future mass and size. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, one knee setup, gains ground well, quick transfers, short arm action into release with solid arm strength and accuracy, produces some carry on his throws down to the bag. Right-handed pitcher, good mover with a stretch only delivery, good gather in the back and explodes down the mound, good drive in the lower half, fast arm, good late snap to the breaking ball in the low 70's, good sequencing and feel. Right-handed hitter, even base, open feet, will dive in on occasion, hands work well int he swing, leg lift trigger, ha some barrel skills and lots of physical projection to come that will aid in more power and impact.
