Brandon Dorin is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-1 151 lb. frame from Chester, VA who attends Life Christian Academy. Tall and slender build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly closed stance with a high hand load, pretty quiet load and could develop more rhythm into his swing, handles the barrel well and moves the ball around, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive to the ball and has some idea on his footwork, high energy thrower but gets on top of the ball and creates some carry. Also pitched, works from a full windup with a deep off-line arm takeaway, over the top arm slot, lots of head movement in his delivery that creates some inconsistency, has some quickness to his arm. Fastball worked in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, gets consistent running action. Maintains his arm speed well on his slider and throws it with conviction, can get through it better out front for a deeper bite. Good athlete who will benefit from more strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
