Zac Karanopoulos is a 2026 RHP/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Bradford, ON. Medium build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a low hand start, standard 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball was mostly in the upper 70's and topped out at 81 mph with some sink down in the zone. Change up was a quality pitch that was well tunneled with his fastball and had arm speed and plenty of fading action. Also threw a hard curveball with some spin and tightness. Mixed his pitches well and threw strikes. 7.56 runner in the sixty. Plays second base when not on the mound, stays low through the ball and has some lower half quickness, fields the ball cleanly and made accurate throws, showed his athleticism well. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a tight hand load, very rotational swing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Good student.
