Ryan Schell is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Stouffville, ON who attends Stouffville District Secondary. Young, lean build with square shoulders and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts with a coiled leg lift at top of delivery, quickness to arm through the backside working to a loose three-quarters slot. Worked around the zone with fastball well and showed comfort moving the ball in and out, topped out at 79 mph. Mixes fastball/curveball combo well and keeps hitters off balance, two-plane break to bender up to 64 mph, competes well on the bump. Plays back on the ball in the outfield but works through it once underway, similar arm action on throws and shows accuracy to the intended base. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a tighter hand set. Shows quickness to hands, comfort working to the middle of the field with consistent contact, best when on a linear path, projects with added physical strength. Good student.
