Joe Davis is a 2027 OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Bahamas, NW who attends Maxd Sports Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, plenty of room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic actions in movements, does a nice job of coming to the ball and maintaining momentum through release, clean funnel fielding out to side, low effort release and does a nice job of working on top of the ball, consistently accurate with throws to intended base, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, short bar back at start but shows rhythm throughout load. Loose hands and does a nice job of repeating mechanics, longer path through the zone, creates some present bat speed and whip through the zone, tools project very well with added strength. Good student.
