Landon McElroy is a 2027 C/1B, 3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Rogers. Medium size frame. Ran an 8.52 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a wide base, sits back on throws with limited momentum on the transition, and developing arm strength. Showed some developing footwork with feel at first base, moves well around the bag and showed an accurate throwing arm on feeds to bases. Hit from a wide bae with load stride timing at the plate. Gets some hand separation while getting to a hitting position, hard on the front side which throws him off balance some but showed some natural strength in the swing and ability to consistently get to the barrel when on time at the plate. Named to Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
