Dillon Wegner is a 2026 C with a 5-9 143 lb. frame from Sacramento, CA who attends Christian Brothers HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.31 60-yard dash. A primary catcher. Sets up in a slightly open stance and gets out of the crouch with some urgency. Gains sufficient ground during the transfer phase, separating into a medium arm path. Has looseness in the shoulder. Displayed developing athleticism and explosiveness in the lower-half. Kept his throws around the bag while recording arm strength up to 70 mph with a pop time of 2.25. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider stance with a high hand set-up and low back elbow. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Remains balanced in the box and firm in his back-side. Displayed rotational swing mechanics with developing bat speed. Produced fairly consistent contact to the pull-side during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Good student.
