Nathan Garcia is a 2025 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Lakewood. Features a lean, athletic build with room to add. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Charges the ball hard. Displayed decent footwork when body control is maintained. Still developing consistent glove actions through the catchpoint. Throws using a short arm action. Reached 69 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a square stance into a simple timing mechanism. Swings on a short, compact path. Looks to shoot balls to the opposite field. Adding intent to the swing and more strength to the frame would allow for more impact at contact. Right-handed pitcher. Stays athletic down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 71-74 mph with the ability to stay off the barrel. Pairs it with a developing curveball in the low-60’s. Looks to work fast and induce contact early in counts. Can generate frequent ground balls. Good student.
