Loften Hinklin is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Higley. Features a taller lean build with some projection left in the frame. Ran a 7.53 60-yd dash. At 1B, he has quality defensive actions showing solid glovework where his hands field it clean and out front with avg. quickness with his DP turns. Showed a longer arm action on all throws with accuracy and avg. strength. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance and uses no forward move/trigger which allows him some easy/consistent balance. Hands load back into a slight arm bar. Delivers the barrel with some quickness on a direct path where he stays behind it well. Post impact results were solid, pounding the right center gap with line drives throughout his round. On the mound, he has a simple/repeatable delivery. He worked exclusively from the stretch and uses a belt high leg lift with a decent backside sit and lands on-line. Arm action works longer in the back and up to a higher ¾ slot. His fastball worked up to 87, living in the mid 80s and it exhibited some sinking action to it. He mixed in a slider he threw with conviction in the low 70s showing some gyro action and quality depth. Also threw in a fading changeup in the mid-high 70s he was able to kill spin on down in the 1200s. Was named to the Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
