2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (26-27 Grads)
Ryan Reese is a 2026 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-10, 155 lb. frame from Youngstown, OH, who attends Cardinal Mooney High School. He is a 7.01 runner in the sixty. He has a lean, athletic build with plenty of room to add strength. Defensively, he shows good feet, soft hands, solid range, and the ability to change arm slots while making accurate throws, projecting well at second base as he continues to grow. On the mound, he works from a hybrid windup with a smooth leg lift and long in-line stride, creating a three-quarter release with a curveball that shows 11-5 shape and developing feel. At the plate, he's a right-handed hitter with an open base and a slight crouch, showing quick hands, a compact swing, and the ability to stay on plane and produce line drives to the middle and left-center of the field. He has a short, efficient swing with good feel to hit and wiry strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
