Andrew Montero is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Seffner Christian Academy. Big and strong build. 7.84 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, rotational thrower with a cross body release, still developing his footwork and direction into release, tends to reach for balls in his receiving. Also worked out in the infield, glove works was his best skill, longer arm stroke with a bit of carry. Right handed hitter, has an inside swing path with a line drive swing plane, middle of the field contact, best when he's getting the barrel out front early and creating looseness through contact. Took a turn on the mound, has a basic side step/leg raise delivery with a short catcher's arm action. Fastball topped out at 72 mph to go with a fading change up. Excellent student.
