Trace Engle is a 2027 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Palm Harbor University. Medium, young frame with plenty of room to fill and get stronger. Ran a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges in hard straight to the baseball, breaks down and fields with one hand off to the side, longer arm action, high slot release, throws up to 76-mph, accurate and has an idea in the grass with gamelike actions throughout the round. Right-handed hitter, wide base with even feet, inside out path, hands driven here, developing bat speed, working on balance and timing, consistent separation and improved bat pat through the zone will aid the process moving forward, middle of the field contact. Young player that will continue to improve over time as more strength and experience come into the picture.
