Jack Cartwright is a 2028 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Brentwood Academy. Medium build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium base with a high back elbow load and medium leg raise trigger, swings hard and creates some bat speed, tends to pull off his front side early, pull side approach, created lots of top spin, singular approach at present but has potential. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has a quick first step and moves well laterally, soft hands fielding the ball, still developing his arm strength and accuracy but has some tools to work with. Took a turn on the mound, works exclusively from the stretch with a medium leg raise and a full arm swing and 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 70's and thrown for strikes, also threw a sweeping curveball, mixed his pitches and threw to contact. Excellent student.
