Cain Navarre is a 2029 SS/RHP, C, UT with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Lafitte, LA who attends John Curtis Christian. Young, lean frame with ample amount of time to get bigger and stronger. 7.55 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow in the stance, medium base, hanging leg lift trigger, developing bat speed and gets rotational at times in the swing. Lifts the baseball often with young strength, should see power tick up with added strength onto the frame. Primary middle infielder, gets around the baseball well with solid angles, presents the glove early with some softness to the hands. Compact arm action and showed good accuracy on throws up to 59 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup, bigger side step into a stomach high leg lift, medium arm action to a lower three-quarters release point. Fastball heavy diet and ran it up to 68 mph (1358 RPM). Also worked out behind the plate, higher setup with younger actions, upright throwing action with solid arm strength, accurate and on the correct side of the bag, up to 67 mph and a pop-time of 2.41. Showed off the arm strength in the outfield as well recording throws up to 78 mph.
