Colton Turner is a 2025 C/RHP/OF with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Orting, WA who attends Orting. Features a medium/lean build with plenty of room to add. Ran a 7.22 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, operated from a deep knee down set up where he gained minimal ground out of it. Quality exchange that happens at the upper chest with some quickness. Extends a bit extended with the arm that hurts some quickness to release. Avg. arm strength, using a shorter arm path and got off majority 1-hop throws to 2nd. At the plate, sits in a wider base and uses a no-stride trigger. Slight turn/coil of the torso. Short to the ball on a slight uphill path that maintains through the middle of the field. Inconsistent timing, some late tendencies . Maintains balance. Best contact were LDs through the middle of the field. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. On the mound, side steps into a mid-chest knee lift and shows a longer AA out the glove that works to a normal 3/4 slot. More tall/fall type with lower-half. Lands on-line and works with avg. force/pace down the mound. Worked fast and showed a 3-pitch mix. FB was up to 75, living in the low 70s where he got some sneaky in-zone whiff with it. Mixed in a bigger slurvy breaker in the low 60s.
