Matthew Ardell is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Wildwood. Medium athletic build with some physical projection remaining. Primary middle infielder on defense, glove is his best defensive tool, fields everything cleanly with quick and sure hands and transfers, game actions in drills, more arm strength than the gun indicated and made accurate throws. 7.03 runner in the sixty, ran 6.83 at an earlier PG showcase. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a coiled load, gets his weight back and forward through contact, high contact approach with barrel to ball skills, lots of hard opposite field contact. Excellent student.
