Dylan Anderson is a 2027 OF/RHP, C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Pekin, IL who attends Pekin Community. Works from a lean athletic frame with physical upside. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball well, displayed clean footwork, smooth gather, fields it properly off the front-foot, the throws showed some life out of the hand, delivered low and accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 82 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilized a quick-paced full wind-up delivery, the hands stay around the midsection, high leg lift up to the chest, breaks into a deeper arm path, releases from a low three-quarters slot, has some intriguing hand speed, the fastball showed natural arm-side run and topped out at 84 mph, flashed a sharper slurve with some late depth to it, projects for more velocity with added strength. From behind the dish, gets out of the set quickly, stays low and gains some ground on the transfer, utilized a short and quick arm stroke, kept the throws around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 72 mph and a pop time of 1.97. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with a high hand set-up and high back elbow, keeps the hands tight, utilized a toe-tap trigger, creates good whip to the barrel with leverage to both gaps, has both strength and quickness in the hands, creates separation well, produced several well-struck line drives to all parts of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 7.15 sixty-yard dash. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Midwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
