Damen Dahlhauser is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Blue Grass, IA who attends Davenport West. He has a medium frame with a lean, athletic build and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the 40-Yard Dash in 5.19 seconds. Primary shortstop that has smooth actions on defense and showed the ability to work into a good fielding position. He has a good feel for the glove that he pairs with softer hands. He transfers the ball quickly and showed nice arm strength across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a knee to belt leg kick and works down the mound in line with the plate well. He has a medium arm action and throws from a 3/4 slot. He has a smooth, on balance delivery that he is able to repeat. He works his fastball to both sides of the plate and pair sit with a 12/6 curveball with nice depth when he releases it out in front of his body. Right-handed hitter that has an even base and is slightly closed. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing and showed solid bat speed through the zone. He has a rotational swing and can add more power by driving through the baseball with his lower half. He has an uphill swing path and looks to drive the ball in the air to the pull side of the field.
