Lucas Wells is a 2028 C/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from McMurray, PA who attends Peters Twp. Recorded a 7.82 second sixty yard dash time. Medium build with good present strength. Primary catcher works from a right-knee stance. Quick out of the crouch with a chest-high transfer and release with a short arm action. Pretty quick process with decent arm strength and accuracy. Secondary infielder fields it cleanly with a two-hand gather and funnel to the chest. Takes good angles and good footwork. Shorter arm action with accurate throws and decent arm strength. Right handed hitter starts from a medium base and even feet with a high handset and a high back elbow, utilizes a negative toe-tap trigger. All fields approach. Added a loud double during game action to backside right field. Excellent student. Exciting player with good upside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
