Kaden Seil is a 2028 3B/RHP/C with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Long Grove, IA who attends North Scott. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense who also shows tools/skills as a catcher. Moves well at third base and has repeatable and balanced actions, compact arm action with some young carry and good accuracy on his throws. Sets up one knee down behind the plate with athletic actions coming out of his crouch, stays directional into his throws well and makes accurate throws, good chance to stay behind the plate as he matures and gets stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a deep and high hand load, downhill swing path with some bat speed and extension through contact, made some solid gap to gap contact with the beginnings of some bat speed and more to come, projectable hitting tools. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with good lower half drive down the mound. Filled up the strike zone with a mid-70's fastball and a mid-60's curveball that had some 11/5 depth to it. Good student.
