Jace Wooley is a 2027 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Santa Rosa, CA who attends Cardinal Newman. Short and compact build with some present strength. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is light on his feet with lots of bounce in his step, nice fundamental footwork and plenty of athleticism through the ball, makes accurate throws with nice carry, game actions in drills. Has the actions and athleticism to play in the middle infield as well. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high hand load and some barrel tilt to start his swing, knee lift trigger, busy hands can cause inconsistency in his timing. Has quick hands and can impact the ball to the middle of the field when he's on time. Good student.
