2024 Fall Northern California Showcase
Chase Lewis is a 2025 OF/C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Fairfield, CA who attends Armijo. Features a medium, athletic frame with room to add. Started off the Showcase running a 7.16 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary outfielder, showing proper footwork and glove mechanics. Takes solid routes to the baseball, fielding out front with a clean glove and quick transfer into the throwing hand. Ball comes out quick with an over the top arm slot with longer arm action, creating carry with one hop accuracy. Lewis has a wider base at the plate with a slightly open stance and a high back elbow. Uses a small leg lift load to start the swing, staying connected throughout with a balanced finish. Showed good barrel control and impact to all fields.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
