Michael Reem is a 2024 C/2B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Maple Grove, MN who attends Wayzata. Taller frame with strength and long levers to his build. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who uses a side set-up with a quick pop into the catch-and-throw. Had a clean transfer with a longer, over-the-top action. Agile movements with arm speed showing. Throws were at 75 mph and accurate. Produced 1.90 POP time. Also worked out as an infielder, showing good footwork, working to the ball, gathering the feet, and making an over-the-top throw at 80 mph across the infield. Uses the long levers to his advantage in the field. A right-handed hitter with a taller and vertical stance, with the front side open. Keeps a narrow base loading up and striding through the ball on a level path through the zone. Showed bat speed during his round, putting good swings on the ball to produce loud barrels and juice pull-side. Also worked opposite field with some juice during his BP round.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
