Nolan Pontius is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Largo. Smaller athletic build with some compact strength. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, works through the ball well with solid fundamental actions, got to his spots and made the plays, accurate throws with some young carry. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and upright straight stance with a back tap front foot timer, has strength in his swing, some loop and length in his swing but some bat speed as well, flashed juice to the pull side when he was on time. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a pause at the top of his delivery, repeats his arm action and mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph to go with a short vertical curveball, threw strikes and competed well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
